Apple cleared up its mess in their MacBook lineup.

Apple’s love for simplicity might have taken some break in the past years when choosing a Apple laptop had never been simpler.

In 2018, when Apple finally refreshed the aging MacBook Air, I was happy like all other Apple fanboy, but when I looked closely at the MacBook lineup, I got confused by the mess the release had created.At that time, Apple still sold the old MacBook Air for the same price even after the new MacBook Air was released. The base MacBook Pro(without touch bar) did not get an upgrade for nearly two years, but Apple still sold that model for the same price as the new MacBook Air. At that time, the 12 inch MacBook, which also didn’t get an upgrade for I don’t know how long was still in the lineup.

Average consumers and Students had a variety of options in the MacBook lineup, but it was not making any sense. Up until a few days back, if you are interested in buying a MacBook, these were your options, the new MacBook Air was okay, but you can buy a better MacBook, with significantly better but with old processor Macbook(base MacBook Pro) for the same price. If you don’t want to spend above 1000$ for a MacBook, then you could buy the old MacBook Air with it’s aging design and specifications which Apple was still selling up until a few days back, or you could buy the 12 inch MacBook with a relatively modern design, an…
