My last phone broke when it accidentally fell into the water some six months ago. I didn’t buy any phone then because I wanted to buy the new iPhone, so I saved money by asking my parents. My last phone was 6s which I kept for more than two and a half years before accidentally breaking it, so my parents knew that I would keep my phone for more than few years even if it costs a fortune. Moreover, I love Apple, and I didn’t want to leave the iPhone ever. So, I knew that my next phone would be iPhone 11 when my 6s got broke. I didn’t settle for XS or XR because of its age. See, my thinking was if I waited for some months using an old feature phone and saving money while waiting then I would get to use the new iPhone when it launches instead of using six-month-old XS or XR.
True to my thinking, I used an old feature phone for six months, using the phone just for calling, leaving the social media app ecosystem. I even saved money, mostly by soliciting my parents, to buy the iPhone.
It was the launch day, and my mind was still confused between the cheap but value for money iPhone 11 or the more expensive, more premium iPhone 11 pro.
